After a great day in Sea World we couldn’t wait for our first day in Disney World, where all the dreams come true!
After a quick breakfast we headed full of energy to Walt Disney World. We went to Magic Kingdom, ready to take a picture with Mickey Mouse and his friends. The park was completely packed, a sea of people was ready to have fun, and to make their dreams come true. After a nice ride in a ferry boat that we took to reach the park, we were amazed by how perfect everything is in Disney, the ones who hasn’t been here cannot understand the beautifulness of this place.
Firstly we watched a spectacular show in front of the Cinderella Castle, with all the different characters which touched our childhood dreams. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, Snow White, Cinderella and many others…
We decided to go to Adventureland and Liberty Square and spend most of the day there, because it was really hard to walk around. We really had a blast, going on many different rides: the Splash, where we got completely soaked, and the super-radical Big Thunder roller-coaster. Even if some lines were too long, it didn’t matter for us, because being together is enough to have fun. We also took a picture with the funniest character in the whole park: Goofy!: )
We were tired because it was a long day, but the only thought about the fabulous New Year’s fireworks was able to keep us awake.
After we went to an all-you-can-eat buffet for our last meal of the year. The line for this buffet was long, but we had a beautiful parade to cheer us up. The parade was a flow of lights, music, and great feelings! Everyone was happy, and forgot about the hunger, and the tiredness we were.
When the dinner table was ready, we couldn’t stop to eat because the food was excellent, a little remind of Thanksgiving in New Year’s Eve.
After dinner we headed to find a spot near the castle to see the most expected part of the day. We found a nice place in front of the castle, and everyone was anxiously excited to celebrate the opening of the New Year. The countdown started:10, 9, 8… everyone hugged themselves… 7, 6, 5… everyone was getting crazy… 4, 3, 2, 1… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! Everyone was screaming and jumping. The fireworks were beautifully exploding in the dark night sky, which suddenly got full of light. A new year was ready to be lived, welcome 2009!
